“Numbers in the box” is a phrase that haunts me from Revs 1.0. I was looking forward to some real attacking football. We proceeded to be toothless in front of goal. He used it twice in the press conference today. Let’s hope it actually happens this time.

I looked upon that with hope. Numbers in the box would suggest we will be delivering balls into the box, perhaps even have a winger. And certainly in League Two, perhaps not so much in League One, the easiest way to score is cross balls into the box and have two or three players there attacking it.
I remember the period where we rarely scored and we never had any crosses and anyone in the box. Just used to pass it around outside the box. Then Evans arrived and we just cross it to Rose, Norris and Reid and scored much more.

His mum is even moreso.
Was sat with her during the end of season awards when Cuth won numerous awards and she was losing her shit in the thickest Scottish accent. She was funny.

The slightly weird thing about me is that I am actually quarter Scottish, but can’t do the accent at all. Not even as a comedy piss-take.

The drink is Scotch. Men from Scotland are Scottish. There are no Scottish women.

Although they frustratingly wouldn’t take questions, I managed to get a word with Revs. I told him that by all accounts he was a nice guy, and got on well with the players - but would this mean he won’t have the necessary ‘bastard’ quality needed when it came to the tough decisions, or delivering the hairdryer treatment? He assured me that was definitely the problem last time but that he had now learned his lesson and that he would definitely be turning on the toughness this time around. He *knows* that if he fails this time it’ll be curtains for his management career.
The problem was… he delivered all this info in such a polite and smiley way that I’m not at all sure I was convinced…! 😳

Very good but it could be that Banfield is going to be bad cop in the set up?

Revs is looking for continuity....he's got it here with Evans double.
Well, one look at him and the whole squad will fall in line.
Simple and as said, continuity.
