Jamie Reid

Surely he gets called up for Northern Ireland at the next international break in March. By far the most inform striker Northern Ireland have at their disposal atm.
I have no doubt that if he was playing for a Bolton, Wigan or Derby he’d of already of been called up.

It would be great for him but the selfish part of me doesn't want us losing him for crucial games.

Possible postponement if LJW and TVC also get called up?

LJW hasnt played for Antigua since 2018, Terence hasnt since 2021. Not convinced big Steve will want to travel to Carlisle on a Tuesday either

Presumably that’s been their choice, rather than because they wouldn’t be selected. If so, could make themselves available to enable a postponement should Steve desire it …

I'd have thought they'd happily go if selected. TVC has been injured a lot of time since last picked

Looking at the most recent Antigua squad on Wiki, from June last year, the English-based players all play in non league, with the exception of their keeper who is in L2.
Guyana at the same time were selecting a Cray Wanderers centre back.
On ability, it seems obvious that both would be regulars in their squads, which suggests there’s another reason for them not going.

When Antigua call up the Cray Wanderers player, who pays the air fares?

FIFA gives grants to smaller nations with less football funds.
Players expenses are covered within this.
Extremely poor countries like Wales and Scotland get extra funding on top

Yep, NI FA clearly raising his profile and scoring record so that the fans don't all go "who?" When he's named in the next squad. They can all pretend to be cool ITK football hipsters.

You've probably never heard of Jamie Reid, he's pretty obscure. He's Thom Yorke's favourite footballer.
