If in the most bizarre set of football results ever seen, Stevenage made the playoffs and got promoted.

Would be pretty spectacular although it would see Rev in charge next season if that where to happen

Why is everybody being so mean to Revs?
He will have developed an awful lot over the past couple of seasons, and actually cares about our club, which is something most people mistake themselves into believing many managers do, when they don't.

He's too nice, and really had no idea what to do when the going got rough.
Might be a great coach, maybe even a top No 2, but not a number 1.

Lovely bloke. Cares passionately and is a grafter.
But not for me thanks.

It was a tongue in cheek comment and love the guy as I whole heartedly agree the guy cares about the club and gives it his all.
He needs to cut his teeth somewhere though.

It wouldn't.
(Unless he gets us into the playoffs. Which he won't)
If he wins 2 from 2 Phil will probably give him the job.
Which scares me.
A lot.

I've had the sense for a while that Revs was being groomed as a potential successor to Evans. I reckon there are far worse options out there. Let's hope things go well at Oxford!

He has been. But for a time when Big Steve stepped away into his pipe and slippers, not when he jumped ship.

Yes, this might come to early for Revs. Maybe he'll stay on board and learn while working alongside the new boss. We'll see
