Just appointed Garry Monk as gaffer.

Cambridge splashing the cash on a decent manager to try and stay up. He won't have come cheap, altho' he's been out of it for 4 years.

Didn't he get the boot at Middlesboro' for *allegedly* seeking to financially benefit from transfers via his agent?

Glad we would never appoint someone with a dodgy past like that.

Back in a previous life, I was still an ST holder at Leeds when he had the managers job.

First impressions weren't great but I ended up really liking him as a manager. Surprised he hasn't done a great deal since.

I guess this is a make or break job for him now
