Summer Signings

I'd like to see a more creative central midfielder and I wouldn't mind Langstaff from Notts County up front.

I always have this mantra when it comes to the summer football break…
I woke up today with this feeling, that better things are coming my way. And if the sunshine has a meaning, telling me not to let things get in my way.

Highly unlikely - doubt we could put forward a tempting contract proposal within the current wage structure.

We need to spend big on a number 9 this summer don't we?

On double the wage of anyone else in the squad? And/or he gets injured on the opening day and is out for the season (as List was)?
More goals need to come from all around the team as a whole, especially midfield.
Sure a couple of new strikers are needed but any great investment in an individual player here should be someone who might have considerable resale value in the future (I.e. someone younger than Clarke-Harris).

Matt Godden to return. He's 32 now and not first choice at Coventry. Get a bid in or a loan deal.

Reappointing ex-players eh...
Could be onto something.
I expect Kenners to be swinging his bits on the pitch by Thursday.

Would not surprise me if he turned up but issue would be wages? , perhaps it could be part of a deal for one of ours eg Reid to go there If I remember they were allegedly looking at some our players last year.

Plays regularly (albeit from the bench) for one of the better sides in the Championship. No way he’s coming back here this summer.

He’s 32, if he’s looking after himself that’s not old at all. If for some crazy reason it happened then it would be an incredible signing don’t get me wrong but I really can’t see it.

Kane would be better, and de Bruyne would perk up midfield no end.
Equally as likely.
