I dont watch Trophy matches often...

Great performance. Made Walsall B look truly woeful. Felt like a PSF with the lack of fans but a very good watch. Often wonder if it's hard for some players to motivate themselves for a second string match, but not last night.

Great for the confidence of some fringe players and new.lads.

Mellon hadn't really impressed me in his cameos much, a bit half-hearted in his closing down, but yesterday he was far better all round. First hat trick since when? Godden? (Chuds will know).

The empty stadium meant you could hear Revs coaching and instructing almost non stop. Not just encouraging or bollocking.

When Phoenix was on Revs side he was continually being told "push, drop, go, stay, narrow, wide" as was Saxon to a lesser extent. Its something we don't get to hear from the ET or for me from the Sky league matches much when there's a crowd.

Does he - or Scott - shout at all his players all the time?

I quite like Mellon.

Particularly fond of Honeydew.

Luckily I'm a better footballer than comedian.

I thought Honeydew was Bob Geldof and Paula's youngest.

Empty stadium?
That’s a usual crowd at Walsall

Sadly rheir average attendance is significantly above ours... Even in L2.

The number of errors in that message is amusing considering the content.

I don't have too many fingers, just fat ones, and my eyes need glasses for typing on the phone, but I never wear them because I'm too lazy to go fetch them.

No clue what my IQ is. What's a good number?

Things must be bad if they have a lower IQ than our fans.

I've noticed our management team are coaching a lot, and that silent benches are usually a bad omen for the club.

I remember hearing Tony Pulis screaming at Saido Berahino constantly when they were at West Brom despite full stadiums.

"First hat trick since when? Godden? (Chuds will know)."

If only I had already said in the match thread ;).

Technically David Parkhouse (remember him?) in the HSC at Ware, but otherwise since Kurtis Guthrie in 2018 against Swansea U21. Excluding kid teams it was Revs in the league against Exeter a few months prior, also in 2018 but at the end of the previous season.
