odd decision. It'll make it look fuller on telly. But it's gonna sound very quiet unless they pipe in some atmosphere.
Can't believe the wage saving on 15 stewards or whatever makes the bad feeling amongst the ET regulars worth it.
The ET gang who spend the whole game updating each other on other game scores, making sexist comments about "birds they might get off with" whilst throwing paper balls at the people in front of them will all gravitate to the back of the North stand and keep Chudley company.

People moan that prices are too high and if they were cheaper the crowds would be much bigger.
The club offer really good prices for this game.
People still don't buy tickets.
The club thinks "Well, fuck you then" and will charge £20+ next time around, to maximise revenue.
People will then moan that tickets are too expensive and claim that cheap tickets will see bigger crowds.
This entirely backs up the point I always make when people moan about ticket prices. Dropping them would not see enough extra people attend to make up for the shortfall, which we cannot afford if we want to compete at League One level. Our supposed fans show time and again they don't actually care about the club, and only turn up during big matches or good times, yet are happy to moan about our lack of good strikers or signings or whatever, when they contribute fuck all money to us being able to afford anything better.
Edit: The above doesn't excuse or negate the bad feelings and service for those who have actually bought tickets for the terrace in good faith. But is an entirely justified rant at so many of our supposed "fans", who don't actually support us.

I guess they were waiting to see if they sold an extra 500 tickets over the weekend.

They're giving an upgrade for free. It's probably in the T&Cs somewhere.
