Imagine being on the bench and watching Jamie Reid stroll around holding his arms out and occasionally falling over.

If that doesn't motivate you when you get your chance nothing will.

The fact we've got several other options *should* of course also motivate Jamie Reid not to stroll around holding his arms out and occasionally falling over.

We will of course start Jamie Reid. Hook him early if he isnt doing enough.

Agree not even clear what sort of pre season Mellon has had.Assume we will introduce him slowly because of this.

He has had one, but with the U21s.

Revs doesn't often put people straight in (Marschall aside), and said Mellon is new to the group and only had an U21 pre-season so isn't at our levels, but is a very fit boy. Unless playing mind games with Oxford, I expect him on the bench, with Sanderson.

He also said you have to reward players who are training right and doing it on the pitch, and was annoyed at our performance (bar the spirit to not lose) last weekend, so I reckon a couple of changes, one definitely being Magennis.

With three home games in eight days, we can give minutes to plenty of players who deserve them, whilst still trying to ensure we pick up maximum points and progress to the next round of the cup (this one is a given).
