New stadium naming partnership formally announced.
Sporta website is quite sparse. Very much a young startup by the looks of it, albeit with a bit of money.
Chuds or Sev or someone with a companies house account or similar able to shed any light on them?

It seems Sporta itself is a trading name of Community Capital Finance Ltd, which shows nothing but £100 in it, in the last available accounts.
But there are other companies which I think are connected:
Sporta Group
Sporta IP
Sports Financial Services
Sporta Play
Sporta Performance Hub
Sporta Technologies
But again nothing much in them and many incorporated in May/June this year.

Does the fact they are new and have no obvious money on their accounts, and the 2 directors have dissolved a couple of companies previously raise your pulse at all or is that all normal for tech bro finance type startups?
If they earned or lost or borrowed money last year, or had assets, would you expect to see it in their available reports?
Where did they get the money to give to Phil?
Vicky Gosling OBE who appears on the website and Instagram but isnt listed as a director has some pedigree... A former Group Captain in the Royal Air Force who went on to run the 2016 Invictus Games in Florida (a disabled veterans event established by Prince Harry and others, coming to Birmingham next year), she was (and may still be) CEO of British Ski and Snowboarding and was quite senior at the Jockey club so she knows sport.

Kinda looks like Monzo but for sport?
They seem to be very new. Ten year deal might be great if they take off... just hope we have done our due diligence and it works out.

Seems they have applied to be a registered bank and assume intention is then to get sports fans to switch to them. Will probable be sweeteners relayed to sport .Also looks like they already do insurance

I'm sure Phil has taken a lump sum of a couple of years money or so, up front to cover the rebranding etc.
I'm sure he will also have separation/break clauses in the event they can't pay or it goes a bit bent in any way reputationally.
And half our fans will still call it Broadhall Way and/or The Lamex anyway... like Bolton still play at "The Ricoh" in my head.
