We have no right to win at Burton. They are a very good side. So a point is as good as a win.
We took the game to them and had them worried many times. Reid and Roberts looked sharp and were unlucky not to get a brace.
I feel very confident for the rest of the season. IIRC Reves only has 4 years left on his contract. We should extend it to 10.

Oh my word I feel so sorry for all the fans that travelled up norf for that. It was embarrassing watching on the box seeing how no one could actually pass the ball.
It will be a long season judging by that performance if Revs continues to play his favourites you all know who I mean.
If anyone celebrated getting a point there I would be ashamed of themselves.

I only bought my ST off the back of Chuds prediction of a poor season. I do love a good moan on the ET, its what makes it such a pleasure. After such a good game against this ex champ side, I'm now wondering if its too late to get a refund on my ST?

I had the good fortune to be watching this match from one of the most beautiful spots in Europe - the shores of Lake Constance, Germany, with the Swiss mountains beyond. It was a glorious sight. Also to my good fortune, the internet connection was atrocious and I had to observe the match as a 90-minute series of meaningless freeze-frames that each lasted anything up to 2 minutes. As I understood from the commentary and the snippets I saw, this was by far the more preferable way of observing the match.

Could have gone to Burton, but chose to watch my adopted team, Witton Albion, win 6-1, ironically just down the road in Lichfield. Ticked off a new ground, explored a lovely little city and watched a team that actually tries to attack. So much nicer. Couldn't have contemplated doing that not so long ago, but Non-League really is much more enjoyable in many ways.
As soon as I saw the starting lineup I knew I made the right call.

My local non league side spent a number of years getting promoted playing outrageous attacking football, and have now reached the point where the ground is overcrowded, there's no room for expansion and they lose most weeks. The lesson is, never try.

Went to a game there a couple of years back while in the area. Place was mobbed. The away team were behind/level so they put on the manager and assistant towards the end of the game, proceeded to break away from a Hallam corner and the manager and assistant combined to score in the dying seconds.

š¤£ I was a bit frustrated at the time but as the match wore on I began to see how much Iād been spared. Didnāt even get to see our goal - the frame was frozen and when we suddenly jumped to added time there was a freeze frame of arms in the air and the score had flicked over to 1-1!
