Always opposing reform.

This one opposing the change to the proportion of revenue that League One teams are permitted to allocate to player salaries, from 60 per cent to 50 per cent.

Presumably they think it will limit their members' salary opportunities or result in fewer players being employed.

Not much good to PFA members either if a football club goes bust and said players go unpaid (or underpaid) for months on end.

Doubt there's a third tier league anywhere else in the world where players have the same earning opportunities.

Normally the union could say if they're unsustainable it must be for reasons other than payroll and they should cut spending elsewhere, but in the case of football I'm fairly sure that is in fact the main contributor to debt.

I assume the always opposing reform maybe tongue in cheek.IMO when employers use the word reforms normally in realty it means cuts to terms and conditions or services to the public.
Anyway if I was a pro EFL player I may too oppose this but from the outside cam see might be good from an overall game point of view.
