A Stevenage XI are away to Bishop’s Stortford today. Kick off 3pm. Not that anyone should know if they don’t follow Stortford on Twitter.
No mention of it from the club. Not advertised once by the club.
Call me a cynacist or negative but if I’m arranging a pre season friendly with a lower league team who rely massively on gate receipts to stay alive the least i can do as a club is advertise it at least once.
I know some people on here will likely defend the club and say because the first team are in Spain they are incapable of sending a tweet which takes 5 seconds to tell the vast majority of Stevenage fans not in Spain that a Stevenage XI is playing locally this afternoon.

Edit: But to be serious, it isn't a Stevenage XI, it is our Academy. We have not arranged this PSF, our Academy has, and we never advertise our Academy PSFs, or matches. The Academy have their own account to do that.

We don't intend him to be with our squad during matches this season so he is spending pre-season training with the defenders he is going to be playing with on loan during the season, which is more beneficial to his progress and development.

Nothing from.the club on this and the players he is currently training with are just other academy lads Surely until he goes on loan more beneficial to be part of first team set as are Norths and Brown plus Doherty was last term.
