Wycombe away in the League Cup is on the Friday evening, on SkySports+.

Luton Town at home brought forward to the Thursday night, on Sky Sports Football (our first ever home league match selected for live coverage by Sky Sports, not on the red button or in the playoffs).

Personally very happy with the Wycombe one as that weekend is the start of the FA Cup qualifiers, which I always love attending and get annoyed if they clash with me being at Boro'. Bet Biggleswade Utd arrange their match in that for the Friday evening as well now!

I suspect we won't be as messed about by international breaks this season. Pretty sure Wimbledon and Mansfield both played during them last season, so hopefully will do so again. Sheff Weds maybe less likely. We were fortunate with midweek fixtures this coming season in that we only only three at home but five away, although that is now four at home with Luton being moved.

sky money means Sky have the clubs by the throat. clubs cannot complain. collectively they walked into this with their eyes wide open.

Without Sky money a lot of clubs would now fold or at best have to breach EFL financial rules.

I expect Sky to demand more and more, (and maybe soon to start paying less).
