Just seen Stevie Pitt on Look East. Brought back memories of him on the left wing for Athletic (I think Athletic, although transfer market says Boro, memory failing me!). He’s currently Braintree Town manager who are being saved from severe financial problems because their ex-Boro player Tommy Smith (36) is in the New Zealand World Cup squad and they receive £170k from FIFA as a result.

Assume that £170k is for all players going to the tournament? Even more gutted Northern Ireland didn’t make it now.
