It comes with my Sky package, not sure what other platforms you can get it on, but presumably yes you need to subscribe to something. Think it's only about 4.99 a month

I think you can sign up for 4.99 for a month and then cancel. That's what was inferred on the BBC news article.

And i think Virgin are unlocking TNT for the game for their TV customers at no charge.
