We've scored more than 10% of our league goals this season against Stockport too.

To update, I have now checked every EFL division dating back to the 1986/87 season, before I was born, when playoffs were first introduced.

Nobody had ever scored fewer than 50 goals and made the playoffs in L1 or The Championship, until us this season. Previously the fewest was Northampton in 97/98, who finished 4th on 52 goals.

In League Two, five sides have done so. Gillingham finished 2nd in 95/96 on 49, Bristol Rovers finished 6th in 06/07 on 49, Hull and Burton finished 6th in 00/01 and 13/14 respectively, bith scoring 47, and Lincoln finished 6th in 02/03 scoring 46 goals.

I posted on X a couple of weeks back in response to somebody asking me the fewest goals a side has scored to make the playoffs in League One.

I went back 25 years to the 2000/01 season and the lowest amusingly enough was Wigan on 53, so we have beaten them by four.
