Home leg first

Anyone else glad we have the home leg first?

Feel like being say 2-0 down after the first leg away would be much more difficult for us to overcome than having someone come to us first.

Just so glad we made it regardless, no expectations from here so anything extra will be a bonus. It just would have be horrible to go out with a whimper, as looked so likely for a large part of the afternoon.

I'm glad we're at home first, and I'm glad we've got Stockport.

Other than the away leg there last season, we've had a good run of it against them in recent years and I'm fairly confident we can win this tie.

Our best chance to, but we'll be second favourites in my eyes. (And the bookies'). I feel the home leg could end 0-0 then a close second leg but wouldn't like to call who comes out on top.

Had Accrington at home first in the League Two playoffs all those years ago. Worked out OK then.

The town straddles the border IIRC.

No idea which side of the Mersey the ground is in though.

Nor why they're claiming to be a county?

They weren't even a proper county in the sixties and seventies.

We've always had the home leg first
We've never lost in the first leg of the playoffs
We're handy at home vs Stockport.

Lump on a defeat.

Doubt it very much.

Unless Phil makes a special allowance as a thank you.
