A few of our idiots, but only a handful thankfully couldnt resist running towards rhe Wigan fans and making wanker gestures when they went on the pitch.
I dont get how that's your first reaction to such a dramatic and important win
i absolutely get the pitch invasion euphoria but jeez, why run over to the South stand?

I was impressed by Caldwell's side. They were on the beach and still came to wreck our party, worked for it and were unfortunate not to take the lot. I would back them to do well next year.

I don’t get why you would post this , it’s not something I see, perhaps you just like being annoyed by stuff
Ps - if I did see it , I wouldn’t call them ‘ our idiots’ - I’d just presume they were younger chaps doing their thing in the moment.

Because we remember how it made us feel when Sheff Utd did it to us.
It is cuntish and wholly unnecessary behaviour. If your first thought is to go and goad opposition fans (who have done nothing wrong all day) rather than celebrating with your own mates/fans then you have issues. Simple as that.

If it was 500 people I’d have agreed . How many was it ? If it’s 10 kids - I don’t see it’s relevant in the context of the day .

It baffles me.
It should be a celebration with your team and your mates. As I said I can understand the pitch invasion euphoria.
Not an opportunity to abuse people who have travelled a long way in decent numbers to support a team we have no history or beef with, in a nothing game for them, and behaved perfectly well.
Idiots is a polite word for the handful of them.
Maybe its just me.

Laughably, one of our idiots got his shirt nicked off him, and the other two idiots (neither of whom I recognise as regular supporters) got a good smacking.

You’re right. Wigan were just playing their part on the day. Northampton did too and as a team potentially reliant on results elsewhere it’s good to know there’s some integrity in the game. If we were in Luton or Plymouth’s position we could have no complaints about Wigan’s performance or intent yesterday.
Yesterday was about us celebrating a season of achievement (which isn’t over yet). Going to any set of away fans and giving it rather than celebrating your own achievement is pathetic regardless. See Sheffield United away in the play-offs.

No it's not just you I am in your camp . Euphoria also does not mean it's ok to smuggle esplosives in and let them off too.
