Unchanged again. I think that’s 3 in a row. How many times have we done that this season. Good time to have a settled team. Come on you Boro!

Looks like either Exeter or Orient will take the last relegation place (barring Peterborough getting mega stuffed).
I hate them both. Hard to decide who I want to go.

The correct answer would be Orient.

Exeter down means we aren't guaranteed to lose 3 points away (if we don't go up). Orient down and that's nobend Wellens has a relegation on his CV. Win win.

Frustrating. The second half performance until we conceded was the pits. Pragmatism is one thing, sitting back from the 60th odd minute and allowing relentless attacks without an outlet of our own to break is criminal and had they not equalised we would have carried on doing just that.
That said. It is in our hands, at home. If offered that scenario for the last day of the season before a ball was kicked I’d have snapped your arm off for it.
Hopefully today is a bit of a kick up the arse for us. We have to get a result next weekend. Cup finals all the way. This pressure is a privilege, we need to play like that, not like deers in the headlights.

It’s extremely frustrating that it was obviously coming, but we didn’t sort out those Doncaster attacks down that left side. Sitting back and soaking up a general onslaught is great, but seeing the same method of attack time and again and not preventing it earlier is often a recipe for disaster as statistically there’s always a limit to how long you can hold them off. Had we held on we could’ve taken Plymouth out of our hair for the final day and only needed a draw to top Luton. Now we’ve got to win to hold off two serious contenders - the odds are not as favourable as we might assume.

It was from halftime, we sat back and didn't cope with their changes. Need to learn a lesson if we do make the playoffs as we will be punished trying to do that.

Don't think we had any answers to their changes. Couldn't cope with their wide players once Sharp came one.
Their goal was clear to anyone it was coming.

Who in their heart of hearts was not genuinely worried when Billy Sharp came on after half time? Record breaking striker, knows where the goal is,simple tap in last appearance at Donny?
Fair play to him,great career.
Wish he’d taken the day off tho 😡

There was a definite shift from defensive to park the bus around the hour mark. They changed sure, but we’d have been passive even if they hadn’t. That one is on us more than any tactical nous from Doncaster.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If we were quicker in transition we’d score a lot more goals and not have to change much tactically. It’s simply a case of moving the ball forward at pace when we win it back in our own half. Leave a pacy man or two forward when they attack/have set pieces and it changes a lot. Hopefully we can add that for next season even if not much else changes, it’ll really improve us as an attacking threat.

That's part of our mindset though isn't it? Everyone back when defending any kind of set piece. I can't see that changing anytime soon. Personally, I'd prefer 1-2 up over an overcrowded area.

214pts between the two of them but one has to now go through the playoffs.
They really do deserve to go up and the FL really needs to get it's act together (and get a spine) to sort out the extra promotion place.

I would imagine they only played so much because they invaded the pitch after their goal.
I don't know as I was in Donny, but would be very surprised if that isn't the case.

Reid’s one contribution was blocked when he should have squared for Kemp to slot home.

Trouble is it means we have to score v Wigan.
Wish we had any credible forward option on the bench. I'd have preferred to give Campbell a go up top over the Conference South forward.

We have never failed to score in as few games in our entire EFL history as this season.
Sure our total number of goals scored isn't very high, but we score in most matches.

Stockport are 2-1 up against Peterborough so we're back down to 5th.
Still worth keeping an eye out as a win for Posh today guarantees survival for them.
It's mad to me that every side from 16th down could still be relegated with 44 results in.

Yes, it's where Revs needs to be better. As with Bolton he had fair warning a change was needed.
As good as we are defensively you can't just surrender the midfield for 45mins.

I'd happily take a point today and leave it in our own hands against Wigan.
Luton are home to Barnsley and Plymouth are hosting Port Vale later so I can't see either dropping points.
