Playoff final wishful thinking?
Couple more wins for us, Stockport or Bolton drop out of the playoffs, Luton win a few games we could be looking at a Stevenage Luton playoff final. Winning that would be the best day out ever

Or we just focus on getting into the play-offs full stop and then if that happens we beat whoever is in front of us.

Can't see them making up the ground, but it would be absolutely lovely to beat them at Wembley. Losing mind you :/

Have you seen their remaining fixtures? And those of the sides they are chasing? And their form?
If we were to lose at Bolton and against Lincoln (really isn't too much or a stretch), Luton would just need to beat Northampton and Mansfield and they would overtake us with three to play, and their next game is Rotherham.
They are VERY much in it.

On Stockport, have you seen their next couple of games? Following the final on Sunday they have Wimbledon away tomorrow night and then away to Exeter on Saturday. That's a lot of time on the road in 7 days and may trip them up!

Their last game is at Bolton, which could be very interesting. Especially if we somehow win tomorrow!

And the momentum of positivity from winning the EFL Trophy at Wembley (which they were only in because Swindon got disqualified).
Two trips to Wembley in one season?

Ooof, that would be awful lol.
I'd rather Stockport at Wembley if anyone, they'd outnumber us by the least margin.

I genuinely believe 6th is really only between us and Plymouth, and now there’s a 4-point spread and we have a GIH over them, I can see it being us in the last berth. Neither Bolton nor Stockport will be dropping out.

I'm confident we'll make the playoffs now.
Bound to happen *after* I booked my trip home and back for the last couple of regular home games. 😠

Two words...Glory Hunter 😉
That said, I will be betraying our team when we get into the playoffs...booked a holiday at Christmas. However, in the words of Arnold Scwartznegar..."I'll be back" for the final...flying back from Spain on the day then flying back again the following day.

I could fly back the day before and return the day after but one flight a day makes same day either way impossible.

If there is anything I've learnt from this season, it's that things can change very quickly.
We are in a good position now but two tough games and things could look very different. And if it does, it's not the end of the world because we then have 3 more games, after which things could look different again!
Anyway, even if we do make the playoffs, I wouldn't rate our chances that high. But got to be in it to win it.

Yeah, I'm not sure how well our working hard and keeping it tight at the back will work on the Wembley pitch. Cardiff found ways to cut through us at theirs eventually by playing through balls, and Lutons second goal we couldn't keep up with.
Would love to be proved wrong, mind.

Oh I dont rate our chances of actually getting promoted.
I'd say 10 or 15-1 or thereabouts would be fair odds. But I'm not a gambling man.
