SFC Women

Looks like the SFC Women are about to wrap up the League Title on Sunday at Broadhall Way.
A brilliant season and they may be playing our old friends from Luton next year in Division 1 south east of the National League.
Congratulations to all involved.

Imagine what they could achieve with a bit more backing so they didn't have to car share to games, pay their own insurance and buy their own boots.
700 odd attended the last game V Royston.

Should have them play at the “Stevenage FC Stadium” permanently next season. Can’t be having Spurs U21 playing here when we’re in the same league

Could happen but what then happens to Valley School site, is it hired out to public like Shelphalbury as well or just used by the Women.

Possibly but they have played and train at Valley school .On Letchworth we definitely use this for men's academy to some extent as see them almost every week there.

Think its mostly used by the Stevenage academy teams now for training and matches, the other clubs who used to train on it like Stevenage Borough juniors don't get a look in and prices hiked, so didn't really benefit the community like all the media noise

Haven't they invested quite a bit into the women's team this season? Feel like I read or heard that somewhere. I'm guessing the budget this year is probably more than all the other teams, hence the success. Not sure how much of that filters down to the players themselves.
