Bolton (A) L
Lincoln (H) W

Donny (A) D
Wigan (H) W
My guess, after 4 glasses of wine, is as above, so 11 points.
Is that likely to be enough? Not convinced.

Maximum any team below us can get is 74.

I was expecting us to be on 9 by now, but we’re on 8 so not bad. And we would have been on 11 if we’d held on yesterday so it’s still pretty positive overall.

I was expecting nothing from Bradford, Bolton or Lincoln (and therefore no chance of playoffs) so we are 4 points up on what I though there, and now in with a chance still.

That's pretty much what I'd predict on paper except a draw v Rotherham. But know that it will never go like that, where we end up losing to Blackpool but beating Lincoln or something stupid, beat Bolton away and lose to Doncaster etc.

Our performances this season have outstripped my wildest dreams. Call me negative but never thought we would be anywhere near the playoffs this season. So much did I disbelieve that we booked a month away touring Northern Spain after the normal season finished! Now, readjusted our route so that we'll be staying near Asturias Airport. I'll be flying back home for the final...so a bit of positivity at last!

Slightly optimistic. We’re 38 games in and sixth in the league. We should be expecting to do well on the run in. Especially with our postage stamp sized pitch defeating visitors before a ball is kicked meaning we only actually have to try when we play away.

Re: Remaining Games

At first glance, yes, I agree. But is it though? 5 of those teams are in relegation scraps or struggling (Barnsley). Only Lincoln, Bolton and Bradford are, on paper, problem teams for us. But both Bolton and Bradford are wobbling badly. Fans of both are on facebook pouring scorn on their own teams, both sets of supporters in absolute despair. Both were beaten today by lower opposition. So I think draws there are quite possible. Now, I know that in reality there will be banana skins, and the teams fighting for their lives often produce shock results. But when I look at those fixtures and think logically, I’ve got to say 17/18 points is well within the bounds of possibility. Even a loss to Lincoln would see us at 15-16 points, so I am sanguine about our chances.

Bolton hadn't lost since 10th January before today so I dont call that wobbling badly, the only thing that needs wobbling is their fans heads

Drawn 5 of their last 8 though and only won 2. That many draws are more damaging than if you win one lose one.

Yes, oddly we're normally the draw specialists and it keeps the points ticking up if you never lose, but weirdly we've now not drawn in ages and are flipping between wins and losses

Again, I agree it’s unlikely, but what if our early season form is returning? I’m not scared of Bradford or Bolton in the way I might have been a few weeks back. I suppose Lincoln at home will be the biggest test, but no reason we shouldn’t expect the possibility of a draw.

The timing of the Lincoln game looks like it will be prime for the league to be decided that weekend. Would probably help us if they could clinch it before then or perhaps if it becomes tighter between them and Cardiff in the meantime. Just adds an extra narrative
