I have a much-improved feeling about them and dare to suggest we could take the full 9 points. Burton may well prove to be tough cookies and I feel that if we were going to slip up anywhere it would be there, but only in the sense of a draw rather than a loss. But O’s and Dons at home I have high hopes for. 7/9 as a minimum I think.

Let's not get carried away after a win or two, same as we shouldn't after a loss or two.
Part of the problem this season has been our fans being far too reactionary to results and taking things in far too small samples. Nobody in the division other than Cardiff and Lincoln (and Vale the other way) has had any form of consistency all season, which is why it is all so tight and changes so often. And we are now at the point of the season where sides are scrapping for their lives and odd results will happen.
And although Burton may be towards the bottom of the league, they are very tough at home. In their last six they have beaten Huddersfield and Stockport (plus Rotherham) and drawn with Cardiff and West Ham (losing in ET). Far from a gimme.
But on paper they are indeed all very winnable, and we have ourselves in a seriously good position, which EVERYBODY would have taken at the start of the season. So whatever happens I hope everybody gets fully behind everyone for the final push and supports them all, as they have earned.

Oh absolutely, and I wasn’t trying to appear complacent or anything like that, and every point you make is true and correct. For me, there have been some particularly grim moments in the last months where I’d become hopeless of us turning our form around. As that has picked up significantly (8th in the form table, up from 22nd) I was looking at the next three with a refreshed point of view. Whilst any of those matches can - and probably will! - go in any direction, I am far more confident of them now than I have been in a long while. I might have taken a more negative outlook just a few weeks ago, but I’m genuinely looking forward to those matches now.

You need to come and sit in the Norf with me where there is positivity, rather than the moaning terrace, then you would never have given up the belief in the team or management ;).

Lol, that's not normally my experience of the North, even when we win!
Just booked half price seats for 7 of us with you for Wimbledon 👍

But I'm in da North, in the middle at the back, which is where I guess you sit?

I’m still clinging on with the belief, don’t worry 😊

I was thinking the same. Now that we have won a few games some will automatically expect us to beat every team below us in the league. And when we don't, which we won't, it'll be back to "we should be beating shit teams like these and the reason we aren't is Revs"

We can still get into the automatics, why so pessimistic?! ;)

Happy St David's day.
I also have a good feeling about the next 3 matches. I think a win at Burton. A draw against Orient and a win against the Dons.
We are mathematically safe, but I still think we will scrape a play off spot.

Other way round for me, Burton will be the toughest, so I’m thinking the draw (1-1) will be there. Two home wins to follow.
