I'm going for a 1-0 Boro win. Reidy finally gets a ball that is delivered into the box.

Teams near the bottom who haven't just recently turned things around, teams that aren't on good runs, teams that aren't in the top 7. Unfortunately we haven't really played any of those for a long time.

We are playing well. Revs has got his tactics spot on today. If we play the same second half we will win this.

I’ve gone to watch my other team Leicester who are pants at the moment but it’s the same price to get in as Boro and far more watchable (he says hopefully)

Ha. Yeh. Leicester heading for League One if as expected a points deduction comes. An absolute shambles of a performance. Hopefully the chants of ‘sacks in the morning’ directed at Cifuentes were mirrored at Boro by the anti Revellers

So here we go again. 4 2 3 1. Lets keep on repeating what hasn't worked for months in the vain hope something might change. This guy is unbelievable. Either stubborn ot stupid. Lose today and serious questions need to be asked. He has repeatedly shown an inability to adapt. I'll keep my fingers crossed but I don't have any confidence

Ask yourself a question- using data from the past 25 years, does Phil Wallace care if you are entertained?
People may want Revs to be sacked, possibly because they are prone to grandiose delusions, but he is safe as houses. And even safer with this contract. I don’t really care about the contract, but it certainly won’t encourage Revs to play people’s wet dream of wingers and two up top!!

For a start we get rid of this useless bloody formation that clearly doesn't work. We play 2 up top. Either 352 or 532.

LMFAO. 2 wins in 15 and you think it's working? Failure to adapt is why were are dropping like a stone. Total lack of vision. No doubt we will hear the normal "we worked hard" bullshit.

Have all the performances been terrible? Are we getting battered? Have we had the whole squad fit?
There's more to winning a game of football than changing the fucking formation.

I'll wait until we have played every team twice and then see how we have faired over the course of the season before deciding whether a change of manager is needed.
If you changed the manager every time you have a bad run you'd end up like Spurs.

Patterson, Kemp, Earley. Anyone with some attacking intent?

Is that in addition to Lubala and Roberts? So you'd have to take out two centre midfielders for them?
Or in place of Lubala and Roberts? In which case it's no more attacking than we already have.
For me I would like to see Cornick and Reid as a front two. Then Roberts or Phoenix and Campbell as the RM/LM.
With Houghton and Thomson in centre mid.

Patterson for Lubala who actually offers something other than running round. Kemp for Thompson or White in the 10 with Phillips as an 8 and one of White or Thompson at the base. We don't need both of them holding.

He always makes those changes on 60 minutes. Basically, being ‘in the game’ after an hour is Rev’s raison d’etre

I have woken up as confident of a win today as I was that we definitely would not lose on Tuesday.
Despite our form, despite us having failed to beat Mansfield at home in nine attempts since 2014, and despite them having won five on the spin.
Maybe it is the glorious sight of blue skies and sunshine tricking my little brainbox, but I am very much feeling it today. UP IT!

But Reid used to play for Mansfield so he might score as well.

I think 1-1. We’ll huff and puff, our defence will be strong and we’ll score first, after about 25 minutes, just to wind us all up. But Mansfield have won their last five and have never been easy opposition, so they’ll fight back and equalise to send us all home in another funk.

Probably, Jamie. If Saxon is fit, as Revs claims, I'd love to see a bit of three at the back at some stage, but I'm not expecting it. Exeter was crap but otherwise we have been much better than some on here suggest recently.
I would love a lucky win to shut up the moaners.

All our wins are lucky according to some.
"We only won because the defender gifted it"
"We only won because of a penalty"
"We only won because the keeper messed up...."
Whereas all our losses are because the manager hasn't got a clue.
