I’m vaguely disappointed. I always liked him and was hoping we’d see more of him. I don’t know all the facts from behind closed doors so there’s probably reasons.

Me too. Always thought there was a player in there, as exhibited by his scoring feats at Swindon. But it has seemed inevitable for some time. If you are behind Lubala in the pecking order it says it all. For some reason Revs couldn't get a tune out of him. I believe he was our record signing, so probably on wages to match. In the circumstances, perhaps best for all concerned. New striker clearly imminent.

Exactly this matey. Let’s hope the new striker is a better replacement. Not sure I’m confident about that though.

Good strikers don't tend to be hugely available in January, especially in an affordable price range, so I wouldn't hope for much, and it won't be the club's fault when it doesn't happen.
Yeah he was played wide a lot, but he still could have done far more to impress, and even in cup games against lesser opposition he never stood out. He should have been doing things like Phoenix was doing in the FLT this season and making a case to start games.
Jake Young's time here was summed up perfectly by the Plymouth home match a fortnight ago. Brought on, put up front rather than wide, goes off injured shortly afterwards.
One of those that made sense and looked good on paper, but didn't work out for either party. It happens.

good luck to him. Lets hope his new club plays him in his prime role as a Number 9 - Striker rather than Revell playing him as a wide player

Lubala is all workrate and no talent, I rather suspect Young is the oposite.
