Signed for Shrewsbury.

Best of luck to him rebuilding his playing career after his long-term injury.

Useful player to have as he can do a job anywhere, but I'm not devasted. Wish him all the best and hope he stays injury free.

A good signing for a League 2 club.

He was such a good player for us. He had so much time on the ball, such an intelligent player. Had hoped he would play for us again after his injury, not to be. Don't think we have another player of his type. Good luck to him, Shrewsbury's gain our loss especially when he was at his prime.

Aye, not just a really versatile player, but always put in a good performance in whichever position he was asked to play for us. Played 86 matches for us in the end, scoring three times.

Revs told me that Matty Roberts is a younger version of Nick Freeman, so we shall see whether he gets any game time next season after spending time out on loan this season (remembering he is still young and inexperienced) and then another pre-season with us.

Weird thought he was still with us even though not under contract .Assume he is back to playing so why have we not offered a short term contract .On other hand we might be using Shrewsbury as a free test and sign him again laterm

We were paying him weren't we so there would have been a contract of some kind.

Good luck to him, I assume after discussion with Alex and Leon he wasn't being offered a L1 playing level wage or a long enough deal.

Think he was on a non-contract basis while recovering from injury. Understandable for him to move on as he'll likely get a lot more game time there.

Possibly as BBC reporting went on a free, assume you need transferred as such even if you on a so called no contract.
