Only 2 on free to air. The rest on TNT and Discovery+
Man City v Exshitter isn’t even on at all.
Shame. I used to love an FA cup weekend in front of the TV.

TNT are corrupt as Sky owned by Disney and slowly trying to take over free sports coverage.Example just got rights to this yrs Commonwealth games, yeah now many may not be bothered but soon the only thing you will be able to watch on BBC and ITV will be UK Tiddlywinks Championship.

Discovery already won the Olympics games rights years ago, and did the full coverage in 2024. BBC coverage was still 2 channels all day IIRC, just not the 24 odd channels they showed in 2012/Discovery will show until 2032

Sky and TNT are merely in the business of making money, as all privately owned media companies are.
Sporting governing bodies/competition organisers aren't obliged to sell media rights to the highest bidder (rather than a free-to-air broadcaster) but they invariably do.

Some are actually obliged to be covered on free to air, there's a whole list of protected sports which have to be on free to air

That is true. However, most are either not or only a certain level of coverage is required. The now slimmed down free to air coverage of the Olympics is one such example.

As I get Discovery+/TnT sports included in my EE mobile contract, I'm fine with this. Wall to Wall football it is

I’m on a Tesco sim only contract. I get fuck all.
Do you have to have a phone and data contract to get the deal?

Probably. Dunno about phone, but look at the sim/ contract options. Was about £1 or 2 a month difference between high data contract and the one which includes a TnT sports add on
