Taking the positives...
Kemp is back.
Jovan didn't look out of his depth (albeit rhw pool was shallow today)
No-one got suspended or injured
And we got a point and a clean sheet.
That's.all I've got. A dreadful watch. I even cleaned out the understairs cupboard between 60 and 75 minutes,

Charlie Goode absolutely had to score (how is he always so shit with his head offensively?), and then we go home with yet another good away win (only Stockport have won more points than us away from home this season).

To play devils advocate, Browne and Bugiel (Browne in particular) bury their straightforward chances and we go home with zero points.

Goode's was the best of all the (few) chances today for me.

No. Nothing to do with date, it is the number of matches played.
You can not be suspended for five after the 19th match, so Houghton's booking today avoids suspension as it was the 20th match.

A frustrating player.
Can't out pace defenders, first touch is always 2 yards away and always looking to get body between player and ball rather than go for the ball.
But, we don't have anyone better and probably can't get anyone better in.
Plus he doesn't get much service or chances, so his game is all about feeding off scraps and making nuisance. Not exciting but we know he can score goals.
Wouldn't be playing for us if he could do everything though I guess.

Yep, still can’t seem to score or create chances unless it’s a set piece of a gift from the opposition.
Not saying he’s the answer, but think it’s worth giving JY a couple of starts in the striker role. He's certainly quicker than Reid.

Good to see Kemp back.
Him and Young both on towards the end, looked more threatening than the rest of the game, but that may just have been due to the time of the game. That duo did very well at Swindon in L2 though.

Shame he rolled the ball back to the keeper with his right foot rather than cut the ball back with his left foot right near the end when he got in behind the defence. That was a great opportunity.

He's screwed up an easy pass to put Young through and been caught offside in his first two actions since coming on. Genuinely the worst player we've had since the Covid season
