Leyton Orient have just published their accounts for the year to 30 June 2025.

A loss of £4,614,474 for the year (£3,743,565 loss the year before)
Oh to be able to throw away that much money! You'd think they'd be a lot better for the cost.
Interestingly they've converted loan debt into equity by issuing 90,541,356 shares of 25p each (totalling £22,635,339) so their balance sheet looks healthier. i.e. the owners Eagle Investments 2017 Limited have swapped £20m of debt for shares.
Be nice to be able to just write off £20m of debts and continually run at a multi million pound loss in League One and Two 😂

True but we have not got a game today because of our brilliant performance in last round against a LG 2 club.

Phil is doing similar, what was it a million last FY and according to Neil some similar share stuff his season.
Pales into insignificance compared to Orient's, (how you lose £115,000 every week is a mystery) but we ain't sustainable without our benefactor(s?) either.

Not sure on this one , think he invested a million in recent yrs by purchasing new shares.Rebalanvd sheet debt not clear on this , he might have a loan account which he writes off but don't think he would personally clear ongoing other debts to could be wrong.

Issuing and buying new shares is just clearing debt when your holding is already 95%.

Is not taxable to Corporation Tax as capital. We normally pay no or little CT anyway as we make small trading loss. But if PW sold his shares and made a profit he could be liable to Capital Gains Tax. On this various ways to minimise it which I won't bore you with.
