Yep and at the beginning of Saturday we were top. Sounds like a good formula to me.

Not sure if you have notice teams that get promoted or in to play offs normally all have bad periods Inc goal droughts but grind out results in those games.

I'm still laughing that someone created a thread named 'Dtriker' and thought "fuck it, close enough" before hitting Post.

Could the approximation of striker be a subconscious comment on our current strike force?
Before anyone takes umbrage at that, it is not my personal view....

Haaland could be up front for us and we still wouldn’t score. We’d have to create chances to score goals.

Phoenix seems like quite a talented winger. He does not seem like a match winner. If he starts games like today we will concede and probably lose. Then your toys will really fly

Great idea champ manager! Fuck % and chuck in a few wingers n forwards. We might win. Then ‘accidentally’ forget to save the game on your way to bed

lol good one Rob. God forbid we play someone who gets fans off their seats, opens up defences and chips in with goals because he ‘doesn’t track back and we might concede’
The absolute state of football and the ‘know it all’ fans

Get 3 assists and 2 goals in a 5-1 win and then everyone decide we shouldn't be trying to play like that in League 1 in case we concede a goal

Phoenix has to get better defensively and improve his decision making if he wants to play.

Before today we had scored just one fewer goal than our best ever in League One, but every time we fail to score people start crying about goals 😂

20 plus years mate and this is as boring as it gets.
We’ve won 1 out of our last 6 league games scoring 2 goals ( 1 of which was a penalty).
Entitled to your opinion mate but I disagree.

Cool. It’s been this boring before. I really want this run to continue. Although I don’t suppose it will. So Revs can carry on keeping it tight.

And we won five of our six games before that, scoring 14 goals in said six games.
But strangely I don't recall you being on here then, posting about it being great and enjoyable, you hid away and only scuttled back when we had a slight dip (despite being three unbeaten and second in League One, but yep, this is as boring as it gets).
I guess during our good spell, a mere month ago, you were too busy on Anfield Chat moaning about your other team instead.

Starts of the season the results were great. Apologies, for stating the bleeding obvious that the football is currently not great to watch.

I might agree, the football is not great to watch currently. This is true. But it is also true that other teams are very rarely breaking us down and getting the better of us. So boring it may be, but I’ll take that if it also makes us difficult to beat.

That would be justified. Lost 9 of their last 12 games.
A team that won the league last year and spent about £250m on two players!

The amount of comments I saw after the posh game saying we need to do better and score more goals!
We are or were top of the league for fuck sake how can we do better than that
