Not me , that’s why I go to all the games - in the hope we don’t get too many points. If we get too close at the end of the season I’ll probably get tickets in the oppositions stand .

I mean , i apologise for being sarcy, but what’s the point in competing and working hard if there’s not a goal af the end of it. If we did manage to get promoted, we may stay up or we may come back down- either way it will be an adventure.

To be clear - Yes , I want us to go up.

With Wallace in charge it would be fun and not destroy us. Under ownership mad enough to push their luck, it might be very bad indeed.

We probably are.

It'll be a financial shitshow trying to get players in to compete and keep any retained ones happy.

And in the strong likelihood we come straight back down the contracts and finances will be even worse.

But there's no point competing if you don't want to keep climbing.

And if we can see the obvious financial risks, you can be same sure Phil can see them too and mitigate them.

And there are huge opportunities too. Sponsorship, profile, attendances, TV money...

Why would you not want to get promoted. We’d be a small fish, but it would be a great adventure and even if we came straight back down, so long as the club is correctly managed it wouldn’t hurt us in any way.

Long way to go yet. Let’s just enjoy seeing where the season takes us.

Do you think the people that sh*t the bed after a 0-0 with Doncaster (despite us still being 6th in League 1) will be more forgiving if we reach the championship and lose every other week?
