Not really - we are 4th in L1 with a game in hand, soon to be two on Bradford and Stockport, we've have had what I believe is our best ever start, and have a manager that's a. competent and developing and b. actually wants to be here rather than looking for the next opportunity that heads his way.

As Chuds said below, please don't assume we're now going to be battering everyone for the rest of the season. We've had three shit results amongst some very good ones and are still one of the smallest clubs in the league, if not the smallest. If we start getting entitled and expecting perfection, then everyone will be very disappointed, very quickly.

Just because it coincided with a couple of poor results? Seems very kneejerky. There's no way we should be in the automatic slots with our resources, the start to the season was incredible

And that is the problem with our start. People are now expecting us to win every game and be challenging for the title, which is just ridiculous.

We remain on our most ever wins, joint-most ever points, joint-fewest ever goals conceded and are just one goal off our most scored, after 13 matches in League One. Just two points off top and with a game in hand. Yet people are already starting to turn on the manager!

Remember you disagreeing with me when I said our fans are as fickle as all the rest ;)

We have the same share of bellends as all the other clubs.

No, not fickle, it is just those who stayed silent previously (but have been waiting to jump back on the attack of Revs) are now being cocks, rather than people previously supporting him turning.

The latter point I haven't ever disagreed with :).

What about all of us who didn't want him reappointed?

Who now think he's great.

Are we fickle?

(I didn't want him back, I thought it demonstrated a lack of ambition and was a typical Wallace off the wall cheap option).

I don’t think so. There were never any questions over him as a man. I’d say he’s won over the fan base with hard work and results now. Doesn’t make those of us who questioned it fickle, we only had evidence to show he’d been in the job before and not done a good job of it.

He’s now a victim of his own success in a way with silly comments about his (earned) contract after a bad week of results.
