Was it just me that felt the brightness of some of the ads, on it interfered with being able to see the play clearly, when it was in front of the West stand. (Not that there was much to see.)

I’ve discussed this with the CEO and Head of Commercial. The brightness is being looked into, and is being discussed with the electronic board supplier, who will also be present at the next home game to monitor matchday performance to make adjustments where required.

Could we perhaps look into getting boards behind both goals instead of along the side, and make those behind the goal we are defending blindingly bright so the opposition cannot see when attempting to shoot at our goal, and so their keeper is dazzled when we shoot at him?
That way even if we play as shit as we did against Chesterfield we will still win?

One for the SLO to feed back to the club. Getting it right for TV viewers probably matters more to the advertisers, but the club need to ensure the playing fan experience doesn't suffer.

I have let the club know about the concerns with this. I’m presuming that the brightness levels weren’t adjusted when it started getting dark (ie 2nd half) as there should be a system setting for this.
I’m sure it will be able to be sorted before the next match.

No, not just you. I just came on here to comment on this so its interesting to see a thread on it already. It began to ruin the game for me (well, apart from the performance I mean!). From my position on the East it was dazzling and made most of the players on that side of the pitch rendered as silhouettes. Very difficult to see anything going on on that side, and way too bright.

This is clutching at straws but that was a strange pass DS played , almost as if he meant to pick that bloke out . I’m not taking the piss - is it possible the advertising boards in that split second affected that ?

From the East it was horrendous. The bright orange (Menzies ad I think) and another with a very white background were so bright you couldn't make out the profiles of the players. When the ad changed to a black background and white lettering it seemed like someone had turned the floodlights off. During daylight hours it would probably be fine but in the dark evenings its awful. Needs to be toned down quite a bit once it gets dark.

This explains why we played so badly. An easy fix then. The season is back on track with a brightness adjustment.

Just running along the front of the main stand.
The other three are static.

Still didn't struggle to see anything or find them any more distracting than usual.
Maybe it was worse from the terrace or lower down the Norf as they were directly behind the players, but from the top of the Norf they were fine.

We have that funny small screen at South end. Just with adverts When North was built sure it was said thete would be a screen there as part of it which I assumed would be much more modern.
