Some disgruntlement from some fans about the starting 11.
Not sure why.
I get Phoenix is the most exciting player we have and I love watching him too, so maybe he could have started but a great option to have on the bench.
Strong squads mean good players will miss out on starting, but they all have a part to play.
Today is a big game and needs tried and tested, the rest of the team is settled.
So other than Phoenix not much you can grumble about is there?

There were only two changes from last weekend. Luther definitely injured - confirmed by Neil in one of his fine missives

Obviously Luther must still be injured but I thought Pattenden looked very capable at Lincoln. Freestone gets the nod over Butler but has looked very strong lately. Houghton, White and Kemp pretty much shoe-ins. Happy with Reidy upfront - let’s hope he can score to regain his confidence. The only other positions up for debate are the wings. I think we need the strength/experience of Robbo and Lubala has played quite well lately. So not much to argue about really and nice to have those options on a strong bench.

Pattenden was excellent today I thought. Never seemed to put a foot wrong.
