Isn't Lincoln Tickets an actor from Stevenage?

Is he the same bloke who is married to Denise Welch from "Loose Women" and stepfather of the pop band lead singer of the "1975"?

Or Mansfield. £30 and you’ve also got to visit Mansfield

Yes but it's £28 and card only, instead of £26.

Cool, thanks for confirming. I've acquired a late ticketless addition to my taxi service, so this helps. UTB!

Btw Sev, as you're local-ish(!), can you recommend a good, walkable and ideally historic boozer to visit after the game? No worries if not!

The best pub if you like real ale is The Strugglers but it's about a 35 minute uphill walk as far away from the ground as you can get. Widow Cullens Well was closed for years and is historic, as it's run by Sam Smiths it will be cheap, have only the brewery's own beers and chuck you out if you so much as glance at a phone. Also a steep climb.

I went in the Golden Eagle near the ground on first visit and it was decent (Castle Rock tend to run outstanding pubs) but very much a home fan pub.

Great gen Freemo. I used to be happy going under cover in away pubs, but now I have excitable youngsters in tow it's getting dodgier...

Castle Rock - fully agree

Sam Smiths........ you have hit my sweet spot haha

I do work in Lincoln but don't go out in it. The best part of Lincoln is up towards Steep Hill to the castle and cathedral area, but that's the furthest area of the town centre from the ground!

There's a few local type pubs and restaurants up on that either side and into the Bailgate area. Widow Cullens Well, Magna Carta, White Hart, Organ Grinder.

I don't do pubs so can't tell you if they're good or not though.

The area by the ground is pretty rough, then as you get further away you get the chain pubs (spoons, walkabout, slug and lettuce, letterbox, William something etc) first before going up the hill to the nicest part.

The Magna Carta up by the cathedral is great. Been there quite a few times.

Thank you so much Sev. Up the hill towards history I will go then! Spoons has it's place... but not on an away day! Hoping my other half is happy to share the driving 😄

*Edited to say that while I think Spoons has it's place, I know others will think that is in the bin

**Edited again to say that agree about the area around the ground. Almost as much of a deadzone as the Lamex, minus the fancy retail park!
