When you say all these people were linked with us, do you just mean that somebody on here mentioned their name?

Yes , it was at a time we were in between managers, can't remember exactly when Brackley were doing well.So no I do not know he was officially linked , eg had talks,as like most people I pick up things from this place and other sites etc as I am not in the know.

Brian Stein at Wembley tonight to receive his legacy England cap. Scored the winner for Luton v Arsenal in the 1988 League Cup final. 5 years later was banging them in for us in the Diadora Premier. He was lethal actually. We had some firepower then

I remember the buzz, when turning up for the match against St Albans, the rumour was we'd signed Brian Steen....

The only time one should employ a helmet is to prevent a head injury.

Nah, Wilshere is actually a football coach who has experience in the Premier League and Championship

Not the right experience for the cut and thrust of the game in League 1...completely different to the Prem and Chamionship.
Wilshere is a nasty piece of work too, treated the back up staff at the Arsenal training ground like dirt. On the other hand, Wenger was an absolute gent, treating everyone the same, be they the players or cleaners.
If Gary Sweet has any sense, as others have said, Steve Evans would be the right match for Luton.

I mean, I don't care who Luton employ 😂 I just don't think he's much like Sheringham - more interested in playing golf than doing his job

I saw Wellens as 2nd favourite. God that would be some combination, would give me a reason to actually hate Luton.

Starting to look like Wellens at 1/4 and this from the Luton News:
“Betting appears to have been suspended for Luton's next manager now. Leyton Orient boss Richie Wellens had overtaken Jack Wilshere as the favourite when it did.”

Revs not mentioned on any betting odds sites that I’ve looked at. Anyway, I think he’s got more sense than to consider this poison chalice of a job.

Not sure why Revs would take a demotion, even if they were interested.

Taking of which this must have cost them a compo packet , first to Wycombe and now him and his backroom lot.

Steve Evans is available and would be a good fit.
Pashun, get it in the box football.

He'd make a weirdly good fit with them. Big physical squad. Tight hostile old stadium. Noxious fanbase that would make him look like an absolute angel.
The added bonus is I wonder how many Luton fans would tear up their season tickets in disgust.
Really wouldn't begrudge Steve that move.

In the silly odds sites can't see any mention of him or Revs but Bellend is 6/1 plus Wayne Rooney in frame , can't think who is worse.
