Reid has a knock and not in the squad. Ahadme first start for the club. Plenty on the bench.

White gave the ball away. Goode let his man go. Watch Pidge's reaction towards him after the goal, he was fuming.
I didn't see the second half but thought he was arguably one of our two worse performers in the first half.
I think he's been a lot better this year, but today wasn't his best game from what I saw.

Goode and Pidge are to this team what Robbo and Ash were to us a dozen years ago. That doesn't mean that they never make a mistake. I thought the keeper might have got something on that. Suspect Taye would have.

Not detracting from our great start, we are half way to safety, but we haven't played many of the top teams yet.
October looks a real challenge. Could end up not winning any that month!
On the other hand, home form is strong, confidence is high and no one will fancy playing us at the moment. Long old season with lots of ups and downs to come.

Don't worry, we are only little Stevenage. We've been preparing for this match for weeks. Luton, on the other hand, will mentally think its an easy 3 pointer. It doesn't matter how much they prepare that " Little Stevenage" tag will be set in their minds, all to our advantage!

Quality goalkeeping that from a young keeper. Eye on the ball, confident, going through whatever was in the way.
Sadly for both him and Pidge, Pidge's head was in the way, lucky it only got Marschall's thigh - at full force, could easily have been his knee.

Hmm, can't say I'm as convinced by our keeper as you are. Another game where he hasn't had to make a single save. Doesn't excel with crosses or kicking. So far not as good as Murphy and we've let Taye go stale so be hard for him to come in and d be an improvement. Possibly the only area we aren't as strong as last season.

That's how I see it Steve. I'm sold on Filip and I reckon the club will be delighted to have secured his permanent signing.
On the specific point on crosses, he uses his (great) height and comes to meet A LOT more balls than Taye or Murphy. I imagine our defenders will find Filip *predictable* to play with, and I think his approach relieves pressure. In taking more chances, sometimes Filip's work won't be clean... but on balance I think he's a big help to the defence.
Size is so helpful to a keeper. Everything looks more comfortable when you're not stretching. You can attempt (and achieve) things that a smaller goalie can't. Filip makes good use of his frame.
He's a great age and will improve.
Just a view - appreciate others think differently. Wonder if we'll hear from Revs on this?

Whereas he puts me on edge almost every game (and to me it looks like our defenders are too) and I don't trust him to dominate or control his box, come out off his line quickly to get us out of trouble, or to make unexpected saves, and I find his kicking very suspect.
And every single one of his clean sheets has been a result of us not facing a single shot on target in the entire game. Genuinely, not even making that up.
This isn't even anything to do with him playing ahead of Taye, as I had no issue with Murphy Cooper playing ahead of him as I believed he was as good.
