Choices...
Chem or Pheonix?
Butler or Freestone?
Phillips, Houghton, Orford, White?
Reid or Gas?
I think Revs picks Chem, Butler, Houghton, White and Reid from these... I'd give Gassan and Pheonix an hour.
The rest picks itself.

What's the situation with Mathaeus Roberts, was scoring for fun in PSF,but can't even make the bench?

Young lad. If he's good enough he'll have his day, but right now we're spoiled for choice. Squad is SO strong

Fair enough point.
Yes, the squad is looking in decent shape at the moment. The subs made a difference to the game when they came on. Phoenix looked good, I thought.

Agree, love watching Phoenix. Bet the young fans love him, with his funky name and bag of tricks!

Cracking match.
Harvey rightly MoM, but just want to call out Dan Kemp. *Always* looks forward. *Never* shirks, or takes the easy option. Physically so brave for a little guy. WHAT A B****Y SIGNING THE MAN IS!

Good that Revs clearly understood what he could offer after his very brief first loan spell in which he didn't get the chance to show anything.

Yes, and good that Kemp and Revs developed enough chemistry in that short (and weird) period of time to want to go again

I don't know what's worse, Reidy's playlist or Metallica over the speakers just before kick off.

Lubala starting is a strange one, still not convinced by him, so hopefully he proves me wrong!
Feel like we simply have to get 3 points today if we want to hang on at the top.
Blackpool have done us a big favour and Bradford v Cardiff looks very interesting!

How many times has he played to have the opportunity to convince. Seems very much an unknown, this is his first start isn't it?

Impact subs. One of the difference this year, we have stronger squad depth and players on the bench who can make a difference.

Pheonix is in danger of becoming more of a fans favourite than Ben Kennedy was.
Another assist today.
A young confident player that gets you off your seat and always looks to play forwards.
We need to look after him and keep him grounded.

Is this our best ever start to a league season since we have become a league side? To lose 1 game in 8 and to be 2nd in league one really is a nice surprise at the moment.

Our standalone best start in League One, with more points and wins (our previous best after eight games was four) than ever before.
Our joint-best in the FL, in terms of wins and points, level with our L2 promotion season in 2022/23.

Blackpool was a bit like Tranmere in that season, from the very first game the attitude seemed completely different and you could tell we meant business collectively from the off.

He's not that young in football terms is he? I thought he was 25? Definitely better off the bench atm, but a very exciting talent.
So pleased about today, that is exactly the type of game we mess up in a typical season. I'm starting to dream the unthinkable!
