It's nice when struggling lttle mid table clubs on the way down the leagues can visit somewhere on the up.
I'm sure they'll find it inspiring.

I agree. We’re not going to sell out our home allocation so why not guarantee the income and give them some more?

They'll just buy in the home end and give a bigger headache spread all over most likely

I'd say they already are judging by the West Stand South Wing seat map.

As for the ET, its a bit of an unknown which will become clear on match day. Lets hope the police/club have an eye on what could unravell with a mix of fans in home areas.

Interestingly assume it's not against footy regulations to buy a tick for the others teams areas as long as you don't cause trouble, but that's the same for anyone .How can they prove you are away fan anyway unless day you are on Luton database as a STH.

That is true but here's the thing...away ticket allocation for Luton ST holders is done on a voucher system. Bearing that in mind, their fans in the away end will be very loyal fans who travel to all the home games and most away matches. Unlikely they will cause any trouble as they would have been found out by now. On the other hand, some of their fans creeping in with home tickets could be right trouble makers as they won't be as loyal as those with vouchers. I just hope for the safety of Boro supporters that the police/club have taken this into account.

Bearing that in mind, their fans in the away end will be very loyal fans who travel buy tickets to all the home games and most away matches and sell them onto others, so that they get the points to enable them to get tickets for the more in demand games
Corrected it for you 👍

We have played them at home four times in the (football) league and once in the (league) cup since that first encounter when they were given half the JBT and it kicked off, and I don't recall any incidents or issues caused by their fans being in the home ends in any of them.
There will have been Luton fans in the home ends, as there will be in October, but that doesn't mean they will be looking for trouble, 99% of them will just be wanting to watch the match, the same as a number of our fans did at Maidstone in the FA Cup a couple of years ago, when they went in the home ends because they wanted to see the match and the away end was sold out.

You are probably right and I guess any police presence will be on the look out. I still have visions of that first game where there was trouble and therefore painting this match with the same brush.

It's not a police issue. First and foremost it is a stewarding and safety officer issue.
The club won't want to have to have cops on the terracing, because it will cost them lots downstream.
I'm sure the stewards will have been beefed up accordingly, probably with a few that normally work at Luton and know their fan base.
