Have to say it's bloody impressive how much he's lost. Fair play to him.

Big Steve becomes Trim Steve.
Wonder if he's being considered by Peterborough if they decide to get rid of Darren Ferguson for a fourth time. They have form for going after former managers.

Well, they can't reappoint Ferguson again unless he leaves!

The problem is he's now given up his status as the alpha, Peterborough would surely get a bigger manager.

I thought this was about him becoming a better man not a beta man.

Anyone who's tried to change to a healthier lifestyle or lose weight, especially as you get older, will know how hard this is to achieve.
He's massively increased his chances of seeing his grandchildren grow up.

It has genuinely made him look ten years younger. I'm only just starting to let myself go so good for him coming out the other end.

Sadly, I’ve been letting myself go for about 35 years so am well into the terminally ‘Big Steve’ category.

That takes a lot of willpower and family support. He was heading for a life cut short so hats off to him for facing it head on. So easy to put weight on, not so easy to lose it. Well done Steve.

It is very hard. I've been trying to lose about a stone for about 6 months but by trying I mean do nothing and can't shake the habit of eating loads in the evening. Mainly as I've got no motivation to do so, I prefer the taste of cakes to being a bit slimmer at the moment.
So well done to him.

I've always been stick thin and able to eat what I want, up until about 5 years ago. Now it just sits on my tummy!

This was me until 3 years ago, months off 30. I went from 6ft 58kg to 85kg.
Really took me unawares and was definitely an uncomfortable change.

Even if his agent has told him to go on Ozempic to get his face on the telly it still takes effort to get there.
