Alternatives for today
Views: 50822
What are everyone's footballing plans today with Boro not playing?
I'm weighing up popping down to Carlisle for their game with Truro or listening to the Jersey Bulls FA Trophy game with Hastings (I've got Jersey as one of my FA Cup teams to follow).

Went to Villa Park on the train, great day out, shame the football was just an attack v defence training session

Are you in need of sectioning? I wouldn’t watch England if they were playing in my back garden

I've been to approx 90% of home games for the last 20 years since I joined up as a travel club member, funnily enough my first england game as a member was the last time England played at Villa Park in 2005.
Building caps with these games now for the Euro 2028 tickets when the UK host the tournament.
Absolutely love it, the days out and tournaments are brilliant

Perhaps they should have called up Orford given Rice mentoring him.

Footballing wise only the England match at 5pm.
I am wallpapering the bedroom for the rest of today.

Making the most of what might be the last of the (very) warm weather, kayaking on a very big lake. Saw kingfishers - and a couple of snakes swimming, which was cool.

Probably Rugby on the box for me. Might venture to the Hertford trophy game, lovely day to take in a match.

In the end I chickened out of the Carlisle game to save money for when I'm back in Stevenage later this month (will be over at the Orient game).

If you had gone in the away end you would have got a voucher for a free pint and pie. A nice touch from Carlisle.

Damn that is a decent touch from them. Figured I couldn't justify the £80 for travel and a ticket though with the Orient away day later this month.

Might go over to the National League game at Scunthorpe (vs Wealdstone).
I last watched Wealdstone 40 years ago when they beat us in the FA cup 6-5 !!. That was some game.

Felixstowe eased to a 3-1 win over a typically young Hertford side. Decent game for a tenner
