Something that occurs to me: we still get talked about like we're a big physical side, but I reckon the reality under Revs is totally different!

Sure, we still work hard, but when you look at our starting 11 there's only Pidge that fits the bill. Luther and Goode are strong, and Robbo has the alpha male thing going on. We can bring on Dan P. Apart from that...

My take on our relative struggles against Port Vale is that they did a physical number on us. Basically went full Stevie E against our reformed playing style.

We're clearly becoming a better 'footballing' side, but are we there to be bullied?!

That's because they're a touch slow on the turn and have to haul players back rather than being physical though ;)

Given our budget I'm not surprised by our physical assets, stamina and strength can be built through a training regime far easier than top-end technical ability.

We may not have the money for the best technical players but we can build the mindset and stamina to compensate for that with the right high energy aggressive tactics.

Not complaining, it's just the type of players they are. It's pretty easy to get a yellow card these days, even compared to 10-20 years ago
