Just below Robbo for me. Quite similar players.

Could pair Pidge and Robbo in a Boro fantasy 11, toss up for captain on the day

I love them both but I don’t want to watch them do that together.

Excellent news. Hopefully a few more contract extensions to come through, especially Kemp.
Suggests that transfer business is just about done, though I do think we're a center mid short at the moment.

On this if Saxon is any where near fit would not surprise me if Freestone goes out on loan.

Can't see that happening, all 4 centre backs are needed. Also get the impression that Freestone is considered to be Pidge's long-term successor.

In which case we had better hope Pidge can carry on into his forties. Freestone had a nightmare for the third goal at Charlton.

I think it's much more about having stability and continuity in the squad and that both are still important players for the club.
Neither are particularly valuable transfer-fee wise because of their ages.

More great news. Tbqh I don't want to contemplate a Boro team without Pidge haha

Very pleased about this. Personifies a Boro player, almost on the same level as Robbo for me now. Mark that is, the only Robbo.
