Looks as though we’ll be announcing this signing in next day or so: https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/non-league/gateshead-forward-closing-in-on-league-one-move-5264724
Credit Reece for spotting this. See his twitter .

Someone needs to show him how shorts should be worn.

This reminds me of when we signed three or four strikers from non league and none of them turned out too good.
Not to say this will be the same, just reminded me of that season.
Marsh, Akinfenwa, Effiong and Dinanga.

Remember when we signed a post hip operation Romain Vincelot?
One of our better players that season too! This must've tipped PW and the board over the edge to change our transfer policies.

Would have been a good frontline in the National League if the EFL appeal to effectively demote Macclesfield had failed that summer (2020).

Ah yeah it was the year when we didn't know which league we would be playing in. I was quite excited at the prospect of them all tearing up the Conference, but I guess remaining in League Two worked out well in the end.

This is different, he's the missing piece for PROMOTION

If true be good to have another striker option. Know nothing of him, but must be the right fit for the club if we are paying good money.

On this unusually the club have given quite a lot of detail on the contract.

Was highly thought of at WBA when in the youth set up. But i guess like a lot of youngsters didn't progress how they wanted. Lets hope he's a late developer.

he is not the marquis signing, Wallace and Revs was on about, in theory he is another striker hyped up a bit like Pressley when we signed him

I thought we’d bought Lubala as a striker to sit on the bench? I would have thought we needed another centre midfielder ahead of a reserve striker

From his brief cameo at Blackpool, I wouldn't get too excited by Lubala.

Obviously not match fit plus assume has a knock so too early to decide.

We have a lot of players that “can” play striker, but I think Reid is our only fit “genuine striker” (until now)

According to Fotmob He also plays on the wings or attacking midfield. Also says he’s 6’0” and he looks a bit of a unit. Sounds a bit like Tyreece.

Presley, like Apere are average League 2 strikers. Scottish strikers should be avoided

Didn't we get Yemi Odubade from Gateshead?
I loved him.
Proper happy player. Charged about really quickly couldn't hit a barn door most of the time.
Or is that where he went?

We have not, through the years, had enough players who specialised in running really fast.

A lot were frm the bench, and he scored 8 from February onwards. Gateshead and WBA fans also seem to think highly of him, which is enough for me. We've had plenty of strikers with good goalscoring records turn absolute dross after getting here after all
