Scored again!
Well, a trialist scored our 2nd and as he’s apparently the only outfield triallist we took, must have been him.
Get him signed up!

Scored every chance he has had. Another seriously composed finish today.
Offers such an outlet down the right hand side with his pace and engine, and versatility (played RM and RB today, and was the player to sit back to cover for offensive set-pieces) too. He was up and down non-stop today in insane heat chasing (and reaching) diagonals.
Looks a real prospect, desperately hope we sign him. Having him and Phoenix on either side would be quite something.

agree, seen him twice now and he looks quality, hope he signs a contract on the flight home, he has so many good traits
Agree about having him on the right and Patterson on the left, both will dominate their wings, and will provide good balls into the front two. Also can see both getting at least 10 goals each
I think people like the other Roberts , might miss out on a place at the expense of these two

Reading this plus watching him last weekend at Stortford I think he’s definitely worth a punt.
If he can cope with the physicality of League One then he could be an exciting addition.

Played at Arsenal at U18 level by the looks of it. Must really hurt to be released, no matter how good you are.
Gonna be desperate to get plenty of proper mens football under his belt to get his career back on track now he's not a kid.
Why be a Jack Jebb when you can be a Luke Freeman?

By all accounts he sounds good. Therefore seems odd if he's so good, and training with us and playing in our friendlies why haven't we signed him yet?
Do you think it's a case of us not offering anything yet or him not accepting our offer yet?

He will have had the Spain trip to fully prove himself after doing well against Stortford and Barnet.
Leon and his agent will have finalised the details of the contract this week after returning (PW and Leon flew out to Spain on Friday), after he proved his ability during the week out there, and in front of PW and Leon during the game.
Glad it is all signed, he looks a real talent, with impressive composure in front of goal.

Played mostly right wing for us, with a bit of RB and some more advanced, but not striker. Not in the public matches anyway.
As I probably said elsewhere on here, he looks to offer great versatility, good pace, a serious engine, great positioning and impressive composure in front of goal.
And we now have three or four very good options out wide his season, having had precisely zero last season.

I think we will be surprisingly better this season, but I do think we could take a bit of time to warm up, and very likely lose the first game.
But I do hope we don't overreact and start using last season to prove "Revs must go" when we lose one game. Especially when it's a game you wouldn't expect to win necessarily normally.

I read that the EFL pay a month salary post-contract to any released player who isn't signed up elsewhere, kind of an insurance stop-gap.
So we can save a month's wages.
Could be bollocks though.

Correct I think on the payment thing but I thought it was the outgoing club who had to pay unless all clubs have to pay some sort of levy to an EFL fund.

Probably we just want to be sure.Think we did not sign TVC when on trial until perhaps after all PSFs ,or something like that ?

Be stunned if he isn't announced in the next few days after his performances in the two matches (sort of three as he was the only one who played a part in both hours today) I have seen, plus also scored in the BCD on Tuesday.
Don't see why he would still be around if not happy with us or any offer we made, so suspect we haven't offered yet, but taking him out here was the final look at him before offering a deal.

Yup.
Phoenix looks phenomenal and is only 24.
Jasper looks really good too and is only 23.
Doherty doesn't look remotely out of place, and is so composed, yet is only 16 (may be 17 now).
Sax is still young. Believe Phillips is only 24.
We have a very young and genuinely bloody good looking squad right now. I am very excited about this season.
CALM DOWN CHUDS, FFS.

He is - missed training the past couple of days days with strapping and an ice pack on his ankle. But nothing serious and he is already walking fully normally again after hobbling like mad two days ago.
Edit: Phillips went off injured during the game today. Swansea were kind enough to take a player off themselves so it was 10 vs 10 for the final 20 or so minutes.
Edit2: Looks like it may be a pretty bad one for Phillips, which is a total shitter.
