O/T Morecambe on the edge

Close to going under. If the players aren't paid by Friday they can all walk away from their contracts as free agents.
Dodgy owners strike again.

Tyson Fury should buy them. He lives locally and even trains at the club's gym I seem to recall sometimes.

Snoop Dog. He might be at the game on Saturday. Would be a treat for all the Stevenage fans in attendance.

Bordeaux to Dagenham is certainly a change of scenery.
I liked Caroll. Hope he does well

Playing for two teams at his age is good going.

Probably far too hard to implement but a bit of legislation stating that if you purchase an established sports club and it goes tits up, then you’re liable, wouldn’t go amiss.
That said it’ll be funny to see clubs like Wrexham implode when the actors get bored because they don’t get promoted again this season.

I think they've put in place some revenue streams at Wrexham that mean the club will be just fine if they end their involvement. Could be wrong.

Admire that if so. Think the whole thing is a bit of a circus but if they’ve safeguarded the long term future of the club for the fans then that can only be respected.

I noticed they have involvement with a Mexican club too, maybe it's the beginning of the end at Wrexham?

On this sort of thing Udinese and Watford have found way round this I think .One owned by Father and other by Son , but in effect really the same hence player swaps etc.

Red Bull have several European clubs, some of whom are in the same European competition.
Always a way round the multi-club ownership rules.
Unless you're Crystal Palace or Lyon.

Did the same to Worcester Warriors Rugby club too.
Not really sure how the governing bodies can go about forcing bad owners to relinquish control without any sporting consequences for the club itself. These are private companies after all.

Hate Worcester went bust owing millions to local traders and mainly HMRC.The reformed club have been allowed to start at 2nd tier not bottom next term as long they pay off so called Rugby only creditors of old club.Looks like same will.follow yr after for reformed Wasps and L Irish.
