Or did we sign Saxon Earley this summer. If so is he injured at the moment?

Understand his past injury issue were ankle related so seems better than could be expected if back training.

Per Revs Thompson picked up another injury at Blackpool, I did not pick up on this at all, and possibly out to Xmas.

He went off about two minutes into injury time and didn't come back on after treatment, so we saw out the game with ten men.
Repeat of his groin injury.

It gave the referee an excuse to play on for about an extra half hour.

Assume so.Perhaps budget wise we may have to dip in to loan market for a "free" midfielder given Phillips has been injured too. This would then free up money for a striker.Alternatively we could use Doherty but perhaps too early for him ?

JFC doesn't have a club yet.

Phillips should be back relatively soon, fortunately.
Which is mad considering he had his leg in a full brace and was using crutches the night of the Swansea PSF.
But with two games a week coming up for the next couple/few weeks, it would be a big ask of Houghton and White to play every minute.

I'd rather Doherty play a few minutes here and there as it probably won't result in him being a crumbled heap of flesh and bone.

Torn achilles, gonna be out for a long time.
Edit: Tyreece's tweet says he has a ruptured achilles and a small calf tear. Nasty!

What's the update on Louis? I did not like the way he went off the pitch one little bit. Hoping no ACL...

Will be going to Spain with us, and should be back involved in games shortly after we return.
Edit: Some of the stuff I have said was gathered yesterday and isn't reporting from The Comet article before I am accused of that, and FWIW I agree with Sev's standpoint on that (and this will be Admin policy on here) that directly copying and pasting to avoid The Comet paywall will result in the content being removed. Discussions about things said in them is something of a grey area so we shall see, but I personally fully believe that all updates on the fitness of players should be made public (if they are public enough to be discussed with and reported by the press anyway), so in the case of Tyreece for instance, I am fully in favour of our fans being made aware of his situation without the need to pay for it.
Edit 2: Although I will add that it is only £3 for three months of access with The Comet, and I know Neil works very hard to provide content to us fans and is keen to provide exclusive and lots of content to make it worthwhile, and keep him in a job.

To update, Louis T is indeed training with the squad out here this morning.
Mathaeus Roberts has also come out after his four goals in two games against Stortford and Barnet.
Alfie Whiteman is not out here. Stefan Bajic (was at Bristol City last season) has come out instead.

Re edit 2, I think Neil is an excellent journalist, although I wish he would occasionally ask a slight more difficult question. Years ago I used to do the same job for what was then the Gazette, so I shouldn't begrudge £3 towards his wages, even if, ironically, the Comet was a free newspaper then. But for some reason I do. Surely the club website should be the place to go for news and interviews on a regular basis. It used to be so much better than it is now.

That is why I said I have zero issue with injury news being given on here, because I 100% believe the club should be keeping fans updated on if a player has been injured, and if so, what. Plus updates on when a player is expected back once they have been out injured.
If they are intentionally keeping it quiet, as with Reid's blood clot, or if a player will be back for a match but the club is keeping tight-lipped to not let the opposition know, then fine, but if they are happy for it to come out via the press then I believe it should be available to all fans.
Exclusive content in terms of interviews with players or in-depth interviews with the manager about certain things can be behind a paywall, but not key injury news IMO, that should be available free to all fans.

Yeah agree re your final point . Obviously Revs and club don't mind the info being out there otherwise why tell the Comet.Accept we should not have a constant update on everything but seems lots of important stuff we find out second hand.
