With all this money being spent on players, training ground, personnel, I was wondering whether we are expecting a new investor in the club? Or is Phil pushing the boat out?

Phil wants our 50th anniversary to be in the Championship.

Spending the kids' inheritance.

Possibly a bit of both. The level of funding needed to sustain League One football is now higher across the board. The numbers are eye-watering, although nowhere near as mad as the Championship.

PW made a public announcement as sometime back he was looking to sell.some of his shares , think it was between 10 to 25%.This before the million or so investment he put in , in the share issue. He can't go on for ever and must be looking at the future ? Could be wrong but assume one of his sons would not just take over if he left ?

Nah, Westley will become owner-manager. Destiny will always take over.

Don't think his son is that interested.

Leon on the other may take it on and keep it in the family.

You think Chuds would waste millions of his own money spaffing it on players demanded by the fans because we're not top of the league every season?

Many of our fans would be calling for his head when he employs a sensible approach

You might be right about Chuds being far too sensible to risk his £m's. On the other point.. he can most certainly fight his corner.

I'll probably just buy the ground off the council and then sell everything off to real estate developers and fold the club just for a giggle at the reaction on here and THE SOCIALS.

Give the moaners an actual reason to be so perpetually glum. Lolz.

He'd move it to Biggleswade and make all the players eat vegan lunches served on bamboo plates.
