As per rules we can register 22 Players not including Goalkeeper and U21s. We currently have 18
Personally I think we need a GK, RB cover, another athletic midfielder, Another wide player, and two strikers, one being U21 which makes up the full 22 man squad

No striker required if we are playing 5 at the back.
Got Reid, Young, Appéré and Simpson to play up top. Only space for one or two in the first 11.
A back up GK and a utility player should do. I could do with a list of our current squad though as don't really know who we have now 🤣

Just noticed Simpson involved in Pre season training, would not surprise me if Revs sticks with him .Perhaps there is a decent player in there somewhere and the loan spell did him good , can't see it though but would love to be proved wrong.

If he's happy to stay, improve and play the odd cameo for the year then let's give him a chance.
We don't have to offload every player that isn't a guaranteed starter

I feel like he gets overly criticised. It wasn't like he couldn't kick a ball and was falling over his own feet and wasted loads of chances. He just didn't score a shed load of goals in the few opportunities he got and then suddenly he's the worst player we've ever had?
I think he could do with getting a bit sharper and if we are playing a different style this year could be very handy.

Could probably say the same about every striker at the club! If they don't score goals, they are rubbish in the eyes of many of our fans.
Don't know if we could reasonably assess any of them based on last season due to lack of minutes/run of games/being played out of position/injury or fitness issues

One could argue that they are brought in with one job.
To score.
It's their job. In spite, sometimes, of the shit service, the poor tactics or the cloggers around them
They knew the shape of the squad when they signed, they knew the gaffer and his mindset, tactical approach etc.
No striker who has turned out shit for us can blame the fact our gaffer isn't Pep Guardiola after all and our supporting players aren't Saka, KDB and Trent.

Has a lot of good qualities. His size and pace could give lots of defences a very hard time. Work to do in front of goal maybe but also how many gilt edged chances did he really have last season?
There’s a player in there. Would be nice if we see it in our colours this season.

I always remember back to him tearing Pidge and our defence a new one away at Northampton. He did to us what I have seen very few players do over the past three years.
There is a player there. Whether we get to see that output from him for us, is down to our coaches, and him.
