Very interested in this but not sure if it will be possible with the children.
How are other people doing it? Where are you flying to/ staying?

You’re very interested in going to Spain to watch Boro?!?! You astound me - you normally sound like you wouldn’t travel from the Roaring Meg to watch Boro?! 🤣

The idea of watching us in Spain is certainly more appealing than a 4.5 hour trip to watch us in January at Crawley.

I mean fair play If you view the ground being miles from adequate transport links a positive and not a negative.
I can only dream of having this sort of outlook on life.

Well, from a quick search you can hop on a train and the bus for a small fee.
Sorry it isn't free though.

Luton?
That's no good.
How is bcb supposed to get to Luton with no direct train to the baggage drop from Stevenage?

But he has to wait up to 29 minutes for it.
And make his own way to the bus stop.
Hardly convenient is it.

Tbf, it looks a damn site more convenient than the access to Murcia airport, which despite being a brand new airport has no train/tram etc access and only sporadic bus services to surrounding towns it seems

Anyone considering travelling overseas to see Stevenage play in a preseason friendly that can't afford cab fare badly needs to prioritise.
You can get a train to Cartagena via the Eurostar and an overnight stop in Paris or Barcelona and then get a bus to Pinatar if you don't mind 23 hours of travel time but I don't think you'll save much money that way.

Now we're talking!
An adult 4 days travel in 1 month Interrail pass costs £238 and children 11 and under travel free, so even once you've added on the seat reservation cost for eurostar, and probably paris-barcelona, the travel cost for an adult and kid is about the same or cheaper.

I did Southern Spain, a self catering hovel, on a coach, 24+ hours journey, from Peterborough when I was 18. First 'lads' holiday.
No Internet, no phones, no bank cards, no idea.
Ran out of money 2 days before the return coach and lived on water, scrounged roll-ups and mineswept drinks.
